Robert Lawrence

Professor at Harvard Kennedy School and Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics

Robert Lawrence is the Albert L. Williams Professor of Trade and Investment at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Senior Fellow at Peterson Institute for International Economics, and Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He was formerly a member of President Clinton's Council of Economic Advisers and a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. He has consulted for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the World Bank, the OECD, and UNCTAD as well as advised the World Economic Forum. He was also a member of the Presidental Commission on United States Pacific Trade and Investment Policy and the International Advisory Panel of the South African Government's Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative.
